I recommend a brand of essential oils in which the quality control is monitored and managed at all stages of the production process. From growth of the plants, natural pest management and weeding by hand, careful testing to ensure the healing chemical compounds are present, and bottling and shipping these oils from clean, efficient, and environmentally-friendly facilities. In this post we will explore the importance of essential oil quality and purity, and a video playlist exploring the farms at Young Living Essential Oils.
Only a small fraction of essential oils that are available today are true, honest, and genuinely pure. This is due to two things, first that there are minimal regulations for quality of essential oils. Second, most people think of essential oils being used strictly for aromatherapy, and not for medicinal and therapeutic benefits. Low quality fragrance oils are what you will find in the grocery store, and often times health food stores. Sure they may smell great, but take a look at the bottle. There are some pretty serious sounding warnings on the labels of some of the biggest brands. Rarely will you find an essential oil with a supplement label on them, indicating that they can be used for internal consumption. I guess that is the real difference here. We are talking about essential oils that can be used with intention to create beneficial change in your health and wellness.
Discover many of the reasons of what sets Young Living apart from the rebottlers and sneaky marketing companies that claim to have therapeutic and pure essential oils, but really have a product that is adulterated and filled with synthetics at best, and at worst potentially harmful chemicals. The Seed to Seal guarantee is a big deal for my family, and we have been thoroughly pleased with our experience with Young Living over the past few years. Explore this playlist of videos from Young Living where you can see members taking part in the production process of pure and highly beneficial essential oils. How would you like to go to one of the YL farms???
That's all for this week, and in our next post we will explore the main ways you utilize essential oils for everyday wellness.
