I've had more success by changing my thinking instead of trying to find some shortcut, or waiting for the right time to get started. Instead of focusing on what I want to lose or don't have, I have developed a crystal clear picture in my mind of the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional state of being I choose to exist within. My mindset is so focused on what it feels like to be in great physical health, to be in sync with my environment, to have a healthy circle of people connections, to experience the emotions associated with being debt free and/or not stressing about finances, and the scent / sight / taste / touch of living a blessed life filled with opportunities to be in service to others. This creative visualization perspective is how I have manifested my world. It's how I got myself out of debt. It is how I said to myself at work one day, "I want to buy a house!" and made it happen. It's how I discovered a life passion and became a healer. It's how I have created a thriving essential oils business that spans over a dozen states. It's how I saw a better life outside of Northern Virginia, and within a month relocated to a city I've come to love so so much. It's how I'm getting my health back and becoming more physical active and connected with my love for myself and the great gifts I've been given to share with the world.
"In the mid- 1980's when biochemists at the Ningxia Institute of Nutrition analyzed the wolfberry, they found that it is 15 percent protein (dry weight) and contains at least 21 essential minerals, as well as significant levels of vitamins such as thiamin (vitamin B1), niacin (vitamin B3), and vitamin C. In fact, the Ningxia Wolfberry is the richest known whole-food source of natural vitamin B1 or thiamin, which is essential for proper energy production, carbohydrate metabolism, and thyroid function. The high protein and amino acids found in Ningxia Wolfberries are vital building blocks of white blood cells and antibodies, which are some of the most prolifically reproducing cells in the body." - Essential Oils Desk Reference, Fifth Edition
There are three main ways I incorporate essential oils into my daily routine. The most effective way to receive the therapeutic benefits is by direct inhalation, usually with a drop or two in the palms of the hands and inhaled deeply through the nose and mouth. The second use is by topical application diluted with organic coconut oil, typically for pain-related and antiseptic and antibacterial essential oils applied where needed. Some essential oils can be used internally as a supplement, either in a drink or inside of a clear veggie capsule, both of which have shown to be highly effective for aiding the digestive and immune systems. Young Living also offers whole food vitamins, and supplements for enzymes, antioxidants, mental health, and all of the systems of the body. In this post we will explore the safe use of essential oils. Keep reading as we explore each of the ways to use essential oils in more detail.
I recommend a brand of essential oils in which the quality control is monitored and managed at all stages of the production process. From growth of the plants, natural pest management and weeding by hand, careful testing to ensure the healing chemical compounds are present, and bottling and shipping these oils from clean, efficient, and environmentally-friendly facilities. In this post we will explore the importance of essential oil quality and purity, and a video playlist exploring the farms at Young Living Essential Oils.
Essential oils are liquid compounds extracted from plants through stream distillation, tree tapping, and cold-press. Some of the oldest natural medicines in history are documented in Egyptian hieroglyphics and Chinese manuscripts dating back thousands of years. These documents detail the value and many uses of these precious natural medicines. We use essential oils to ease tension and stress, manage body aches and pains, strengthen the immune system, and more!
