Michael is originally from the Washington DC area, born and raised in Northern Virginia. He graduated from the Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, DC in 2012, and stays current in massage techniques through continuing education focused on sustained pain relief. He relocated to Richmond, Virginia in December 2014 and maintains his practice through his home in the Forest Hill area and Mobile Massage throughout RVA.
Using a holistic and client-centered approach, Michael begins all massage sessions with a thorough health consultation and evaluation to determine desired outcomes and appropriate therapy, as well as realistic time frames on achieving health goals and optimum results.
The techniques Michael brings to his practice include classic Swedish massage for circulation and warming up muscles and surrounding soft tissue, focused Deep Tissue and Trigger Point techniques for muscles that are tight and knotted up, stretching, fascial release techniques, aromatherapy, and topical application of Young Living Essential Oils.
Michael’s wellness interests include sharing and educating clients about the benefits of massage, plant-based nutrition, Young Living Essential Oils, yoga, meditation, creative visualization, and gemstones and crystals. His personal hobbies include organic gardening, reading, nature photography, and international travel.
